CleanWafer has invented a patented, disruptive technology which allows the manufacturing of top-quality silicon wafers at a fraction of current costs, all without carbon emissions. In addition, byproducts of the patented manufacturing process can be resold.
CleanWafer's process starts with a non-traditional feedstock which is inexpensive and plentiful. Then, it adds potash and sulfur. Using a chemical process, the outputs are high-purity silicon as well as byproducts which can be resold (eg. gypsum). Rather than creating toxic emissions, the CleanWafer process is green from beginning to end.
Unlike any other technology, the process brings in low-grade waste materials on one side of the building and puts out drop-in replacements for the best silicon wafers you can buy on the other.
